WEIGHT LOSS JOURNEY
My hope is that you would be inspired to pursue your goals after reading my weight loss journey blog. “The best habit breaker is commitment”. A quote from independent author Lashanda Beck’s “Breaking Bad Habits” Journal. Sometimes we all just need a boost to push us into greatness. Just remember: you can do anything you set your mind to do. Its just a matter of DOING!
A few months ago i told myself that, by my birthday I would be wearing a size 10 dress. I have successfully reached that goal on my weight loss journey . The short dress with sequins is a size 10 and the other is a size 12. I’m proud of my journey coming from a size 22 woman’s dress size. Although I never imagined not being able to eat could help with my weight loss, but it did. However I do not recommend this because it is very unhealthy.
WHEN ENOUGH IS ENOUGH
It takes making a conscious decision to begin anything. Sitting on the couch all day just wasn’t going to work. I knew I needed to change something fast! 319 lbs was the heaviest i’d ever been and trust me, it’s miserable carrying around so much weight because It was so hard to catch my breath at times. I had aching joints and a bad case of arthritis! So that’s why i began my weight loss journey. I was afraid my health would decline to the point of death.
I dedicated morning to working out 15 minutes, everyday for a few months straight. As time passed those long 15 minutes turned into 1 hour! I also cut out eating sweets, breads and soda. And i stopped eating after 7pm when i was behaving. And on top of all that, i was taking these natural supplements that curve your appetite, help you burn fat, and regulate blood flow. In any weight loss journey the rule is this: 10 % exercise 80% diet. Make sure your diet is a well balanced one.
CHANGE IN APPETITE
Recently something tragic occurred in my life that took away my appetite and, I went days without eating. My appetite is coming back slowly so i still don’t eat as much as I used to and I’m thankful that i’m no longer in pain like before. Plus, my breathing is 100 times better, and I feel good overall. I am regaining strength everyday and will begin workouts again. I’m grateful for this weight loss journey Health is so important! Please don’t wait until something tragic happens to you, start now!
You can do anything you put your mind to no matter what obstacles you may face. You might experience a minor or major setback but, do not stop there. Push through it! Even with a loss of appetite I would still commit to a small workout with light movement because i wanted to stay committed. I did not want to lose the drive or desire to get healthy. Remember commitment is vital to your weight loss journey It doesn’t matter what you are going through if you have a goal you wish to obtain, focus on that goal and you’ll accomplish it.
